OutFRONT.me was founded in 2009 and since has serviced 50+ clients of all sizes including independent artists and professionals, start-ups, mid-sized and large enterprise organizations including: Agrium Wholesale Inc., Suncor Energy Inc. (owner of Petro Canada), World Petroleum Council Youth Forum, Talent Management Alliance (USA), The Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (ACSESS), FinneyTalor Consulting Group (Search Firm), Publishing World Inc., and various Universities and Colleges etc.
Stefanie recently worked on the Social Media Marketing & Communications plan, strategy and management for the World Petroleum Council Global Youth Conference that targeted and engaged 1500 delegates from 65 member countries. The Forum featured Premier Alison Redford, Influential Energy Industry CEO’s, Executive Leaders, International Industry Experts, Professors from Schools around the globe and Politicians! She’s now looking forward to joining the team in Moscow, Russia for this year’s forum!
Stefanie contracted to Agrium Wholesale Inc. as a Talent Sourcing Specialist to build a talent pipeline for tough to fill critical roles. Part of her contract involved a three day 30 Mine Operator ‘Hiring Blitz’ in Saskatchewan. She then went on to work with Agrium’s Corporate Human Resources team as Recruitment Advisor leading Campus Recruitment for Canada and the United States and hiring for professional roles in the Legal, Accounting & Finance, Information Technology and Human Resources departments.
As a contractor to Suncor Energy Inc., North America’s fifth largest energy company positioned globally as one of the largest independent energy companies in the world. Stefanie was on the National Campus and Early Talent Recruitment team which hires 800+ students and recent graduates yearly through programs and initiatives designed strategically to build a future talent pipeline of Emerging Leaders.
Stefanie’s previous roles include National Campus Liaison and Web Content / Social Media Manager for the UniMail Communications Group, an Australian based Communications Agency specialized in employer marketing; National Recruitment Manager for Boston Pizza International; Recruiter for Mosaic Marketing & Sales Solutions (Coca-Cola, Labatt, Procter & Gamble, Sony, Rogers, Apple etc) and work with Human Resources & Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), The Canadian Unity Council, and a Mobile Energy Marketing team role with RedBull Canada. In all her previous roles she focused on up-and-coming talent and has integrated social media in her talent community and sourcing strategies. Stefanie Hanz is engaged and visible online and on campuses across the country as an online influencer, blogger, speaker, and career resource in both an in-house and independent consulting capacity. Her mobility has enabled her to work in roles of an international scope and she has called Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary home over the course of her career!
Stefanie graduated from the Bachelor of Human Resources Management (Honours) degree program at York University in Toronto, which houses the largest group of Canadian scholars dedicated to the study of work, and all that it entails.
Stefanie has authored Talent Acquisition articles published in The Oil and Gas Magazine, has contributed article commentary for the Globe and Mail‘s Canadian University Report and for Rigzone.
